Art as Visual Prayer: Significance

Art is language for the soul.

When we take time to be still and create, even for a few moments, space is cultivated for God to meet with us. One of the many ways we can intentionally come before the Lord is through art as visual prayer.

In this episode, you will be led through an art journaling prompt, a passage of Scripture for meditation, and reflection questions to write about the art you create.

The goal is not artistic perfection, but presence. There is no right or wrong way to creatively express yourself. These prompts are specifically designed for you to meditate on scripture and pour out your heart before the Lord. You don’t need to buy expensive materials can simply use what you have available around you.

The topic of this episode is Significance. Enjoy!
